Plumbing for the Surge Tank
Bottom fittings can be used to fill it from the electric pump and the other one to go to your mechanical pump.
Small on on the bottom is to either feed a primer pump, or use as a drain.
OR you can fill it from the top fitting and plug the other bottom fitting hole.
The two other top holes are for VENT and OR return from your by pass’s on your mechanical barrel valve by passes.
It is IMPORTANT to vent the tank either back to the original tank: BEST, or run the vent hose out of the way of the engine area and or wheels in the event of an overflow.
The main tank will have to be vented generously, if you return your surge vent to the main tank
